Saul Niguez to stay with Chelsea, clubs show interest in Ben Elliott

In this week’s Chelsea rumors we have the Spanish midfielder Saul Niguez set to stay with the Blues for the full duration of his loan. Niguez, 26, was loaned from Atletico Madrid in August, but the player has clocked in only two minutes for Chelsea in the EPL so far this season. Despite this very brief action, rumors are that Niguez is ready to stay with Chelsea for the whole season-long loan.

The Sun, meanwhile, is spreading the rumors that three teams have already expressed interest in the Chelsea’s own midfielder Ben Elliott. Elliott, who is only 19, has apparently caught the eye of Brighton, Brentford and Southampton. No further speculations were made.

Another unconfirmed rumor is that Michael Emenalo, the former Chelsea technical director, is the leading contender to become Newcastle’s new director of football. If the rumors are to be believed, Emenalo is pretty much set for the the job.

And finally, no transfer rumor report would be complete this week without mentioning Antonio Rüdiger. The German center-back is still in contract talks with Chelsea FC and nothing concrete has emerged as of late, but the rumors. According to a general consensus, at least this week, Rüdiger is very likely to stay with Chelsea for at least a year or two. If the Blues fail to keep the German, however, there would be plenty of teams interested, if he is out on a free transfer.
